We have three main strands to our business:
  • We offer daytime and evening sessions through work, training and leisure opportunities for adults with additional needs (Learning and/or Physical Disability). Venues are fully accessible for people who are wheelchair users.
  • We are a working theatre company and offer performance workshops to schools, colleges, health services and other organisations that require issue-based training. We have workshops and performances available on many issues including disability awareness, bullying, healthy eating, heritage and environmental issues.
  • We have a Theatre in Education group who have additional needs and are 'experts through experience'. We offer performance-based workshops in Disability Awareness and Equality and Diversity. Local authority training establishments and colleges, as part of their induction process for people entering the caring profession, have previously taken this up.
Our aim is to address barriers to employment faced by disabled people by training employers and employment service providers in disability, equality and good practice.

The project is user led and the focus is on working in partnership to change mindsets and practices in a supportive way. This increases the chances of employment for individuals enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

We deliver training, real world work experience and volunteering opportunities whilst working on our projects and structured courses.

Who can join our project?

Anyone who is in receipt of direct payments, personalised budgets, self-directed support or wishes to self- fund can join.
Enquiries are also welcome from:
  • Care managers/social workers
  • Transitions co-ordinators
  • Schools
  • Colleges
  • GP's and or Health Workers
If you feel there is something that you would like us to offer that is not mentioned please let us know as we can facilitate other activities for groups with similar interests.
